He decided that the perfect place to ask his girlfriend to marry him was at the Sachika Fall 2011 show at New York Fashion Week, with a line of photographers snapping the event as it unfolded.
It clearly came as a shock to the 22-year-old reality TV star, as she covered her face with surprise and reportedly dropped the ring.
While the pair have been friends for a long time, it is not known how long they have been dating.
Another young star who seems to be enjoying a happy love life at present is Shia LaBeouf, who was recently spotted holding hands with a mystery lady in Los Angeles.
