I’m as happy sitting on a moonlit balcony - quietly watching the last boats come in - as I am slipping off the back of a boat at night – quietly as possible so we don’t scare the sharks off before the dive has even begun.
I’m happy cooking gnocchi with sage and butter for tea. I’m happy eating something truly extravagant in a really good restaurant. But then I love cooking something truly extravagant at home and one of my favourite restaurants makes me very happy indeed when they serve me gnocchi with sage and butter. The extra truffles make me extra happy.
I enjoy the anonymity of airliners: just me and a book and someone two inches away I can safely ignore. I enjoy the intimacy of walking in open country where everyone you meet is just a camp fire away from being a good friend.
I’m happy driving my Lotus - fast - through windy roads under a canopy of trees. I’m happy walking in the woods with my dog - swearing at other people for driving too fast.
I love running my own business. I love watching my staff slowly take it over. I love to work with them and I love to work alone.
I love to get to the end of the hike, the bottom of the sea, the top of the mountain; I love my sofa, a book and a chance to catch up with some music.
I love being affectionate and I love being romantic and I love being alone. Sometimes I like to work hard and sometimes I play very gently.

Well here goes... Im an easygoing man with 1 son who has flown the nest as they say and he,s 18 and has just quaulified as an electrician and now works with me as this is my business and has been for over 20 years. Im 44 and have had not many relationships as i was married for over 20 years and was totally faithful and had a son who i adore and with all my heart. So im a shy person and find it hard to relate so be patient...
